As businesses<br \/>\nfollow the trend of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.electronicverificationsystems.com\/Resources\/Blog\/Mobile-Payments-Continue-to-Grow.aspx\" style=\"cursor: text;\">mobile<br \/>\npayments<\/a>, its vital that they implement mobile security measures that will<br \/>\nsupport their newest functions. As 65% of experts have agreed, mobile payments<br \/>\nwill become mainstream by the end of this decade. While keeping up with trends<br \/>\nis important, protecting your business and consumers is even more important as<br \/>\npayments are processed.<br _moz_dirty=\"true\"><\/p>\n<p><!--StartFragment--><\/p>\n<p>After Starbucks announced their partnership with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2012\/08\/08\/technology\/starbucks-and-square-to-team-up.html\" style=\"cursor: text;\">Square<\/a>,<br \/>\nPaypal was not far behind from announcing some news of their own. Paypal has<br \/>\nteamed up with McDonalds to offer a <a href=\"http:\/\/vator.tv\/news\/2012-08-20-mcdonalds-tests-paypal-system-in-30-restaurants\" style=\"cursor: text;\">mobile<br \/>\npayment option<\/a> that will allow customers to order and pay on their mobile<br \/>\nphone prior to coming into the restaurant. Once they get there, they simple<br \/>\npick up their food and go. In addition to making fast foodfaster, Paypal also<br \/>\nannounced a deal with Discover that will essentially allow consumers to pay via<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/stlouis\/blog\/BizNext\/2012\/08\/after-squares-starbucks-deal-paypal.html\" style=\"cursor: text;\">Paypal<\/a><br \/>\nat any retail location that accept Discover.&nbsp;<br _moz_dirty=\"true\"><\/p>\n<p>Last but not least, the Electronic Transactions Association<br \/>\n(ETA) has created a committee including all four major mobile network operators<br \/>\nto act as a guide to the mobile payments industry. This committee will provide<br \/>\nresources and implement industry-wide solutions both domestically and<br \/>\ninternationally.
