The user<br \/>\nwill enter a verification code that is sent to their mobile phone and this<br \/>\nadditional step, only done once, can make it harder for an unauthorized person<br \/>\nto gain access to the account.<\/p>\n<p>According to Google, their users like the <a href=\"https:\/\/electronicverificationsystems.com\/\">verify identity<\/a> feature so<br \/>\nmuch, they are going to offer the 2-step id verification in 40 languages and<br \/>\nmore than 150 countries. Google has created a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/support\/accounts\/bin\/static.py?page=guide.cs&amp;guide=1056283&amp;topic=1056284\">video<\/a><br \/>\non how to implement the 2-step verification process.<\/p>\n<p>The importance in this feature is that Google is taking<br \/>\npreventative measures to curb online fraud.
