I<br \/>\nhighly suggest you take the next 17 minutes and watch this talk <span class=\"design_selected_field\">Fighting<br \/>\nviruses, defending the net<\/span>. Its informative, entertaining, and you will<br \/>\neven chuckle. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; line-height: 13pt;\">During his talk, Hypponen breaks out a floppy disc with the<br \/>\nfirst virus ever found for PC computers, Brain.A, which was created in 1986. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; line-height: 13pt;\"><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 9pt; line-height: 13pt;\">I cant even think of the last time I<br \/>\nheld a floppy disc in my hand, but he pops it into his computer, opens the<br \/>\ncode, and shows you how the virus can be pointed back to two people.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>From there, he takes you deeper into the world of cybercrime,<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.electronicverificationsystems.com\/\" style=\"cursor: text;\">fraud prevention<\/a><br \/>\nand the implications is currently has, and will have on our future.<br _moz_dirty=\"true\"><\/p>\n<p><br _moz_dirty=\"\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was on our Twitter account earlier today seeing what<br \/>\neveryone was talking about when I found a TED talk that Mikko Hypponen did.
