Louisville, KY- (09/29/2014) Electronic Verification Systems (EVS) has just released a new feature within their IdentiFlo Platform. Under the Watch List Screenings suite users are now able to create Custom Watch Lists. Businesses can upload and apply existing internal data to identify key individuals and have the ability to check against internal lists that may not be on other known lists. The improved Watch List Screenings allow businesses to better meet Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money laundering regulations.

Custom Watch List use cases can be anything from screening against known individuals you do not want to do business with to keeping track of individuals that have required manual document verification in the past. This feature allows an unlimited number of named lists to be uploaded, each with an unlimited list of names. Users also are able to directly manage all Custom Watch Lists directly through the platform. According to EVS EVP, Client Development, Eric Knapp, “Enhancing Watch List Screenings for our clients has been a top priority this year.” Knapp states that, “We want to ensure them that their business is being protected through every step of the ID verification process.”

Electronic Verification Systems released this offering in September 2014 because clients have long needed the ability to monitor individuals that are of priority to their business. It’s crucial to be able to have control over every detail of your system when verifying identities. Effective screening against such lists can help prevent an organization from doing business with parties that have been accused of criminal offenses and ultimately, from becoming involved in on-going scams. These new offerings give clients the ability to perform each screening through their Web Service API or using a secure browser-based interface.

For more information on EVS’s fraud prevention solutions or partnerships, please contact Eric Knapp, EVS Vice President of Client Services, at 502.814.1020.

About Electronic Verification Systems

Electronic Verification Systems is a leading provider of fraud prevention solutions designed to help businesses combat identity theft, control costs, satisfy governmental regulation, and support audit and control requirements.
